Post Pesky Pigeons!
Does anyone have any tips to stop these feathered feral bandits bullying the smaller birds and scoffing all the seed in the feeder. The have gone through a full bag of Sunflower hearts in less than a week....now even a wood pigeon has muscled in on the act as well!

We get that here too, FC, but with the Corvids, Rooks, Jackdaws, Crows & Magpies. Mostly the first two. They decend in their droves & eat everything I put out, decimate the hanging feeders & the little birds don't stand a chance. I do shoo them off if I'm in or near the garden, which doesn't affect the other birds, but I can't be around all the time. :x
I know Corvids have to eat too & rear young, but there are so many here the moment I put the food out, it's getting beyond a joke!
Sadly I have no solution, except I have put wire mesh round the bird table, but they have such long bills they can still reach inside that as well.
